Hi Elizabeth Both the plain tile and the dado are finished with the same glaze, but as they are made in different production runs there can occasionally be very minor variation. However, this is extremely rare and even if it was to occur, the profile of the dado and the way it reflects light will mean that it is not noticeable. Hi Rob These tiles do not have a glazed edge.
