Hello, Can these panels be paintedOur Advice

Hi James, We would not recommend painting, oiling or varnishing our panels in any way as this may interfere with the veneer and adhesive used. Kind regards, Walls and Floors

Hi I would be worried about accumulation of dust and microbes etc and also smell etc , what is the procedure to clean them without a mess. Our Advice

Hi Neeraj, For the maintenance of our panels, we recommend periodic dusting with a duster or soft-bristled brush. We would not recommend the use of abrasive materials and wood/furniture polish as this may damage the veneer. Kind regards, Walls and Floors

You don't advise using these near a heat source. I assume that includes around a radiator? Our Advice

Hi There, We do not recommend using the panels around a radiator as it can affect the veneer on the panels. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

Will these panels block out the noise from my neighbours TV Our Advice

Hi Sophia, The acoustic rating for these as standard is a Grade D however there are ways of installing these to increase this rating. If you install wooden battens to the wall and then install the panels onto those you can then fill the area behind with rock or fiberglass wool, this will increase the rating to a Grade A. Please see our Trepanel® Guide attached. https://m2.wallsandfloors.co.uk/media/amasty/amfile/attach/DesignDataSheet_Updated_3_.pdf Kind regards, Walls and Floors

How easy is it to cut to side when fitting? The length is slightly too long. Also how do you cut around plugs? Our Advice

Good Afternoon Yes, the panels are really easy to cut. You just need a sharp Stanley knife for the felt and either a hand saw or circular saw for the wood slats. For plug sockets, the shape will need to be carefully measured and cut the same way. Kind Regards Walls and Floors
