Hello, can I use these Scintilla tiles on the wall, as a Splashback behind an AGA?Our Advice

Hi James, You can do this with these tiles, however, We recommend leaving a 4-6mm gap between the tiles and the heat source. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

Hi - I've seen these on another website but they're described as "Pre Scored Porcelain" - please could you confirm who's correct. I'm looking for porcelain for my fireplace/logburner. Many thanksOur Advice

Hi Marie, Yes, these tiles are also pre-scored. They create the effect of 4 smaller tiles. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

Planning to use on the floor of an interior garden room, will they need sealing? Our Advice

Hi Sheila, It is not essential to seal these tiles, however, it can be beneficial to help maintain the tiles' best condition. If you did want to do so, we'd recommend the below product: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-porcelain-tile-protector Kind Regards, Walls and Floors

Are these tiles okay for a wet room floor? Our Advice

Hi Jane These tiles do have a matt finish so will have some slip resistance, however they do not have an anti-lip rating so we cannot confirm how safe they would be when wet, We would usually advise a tile with an R10 anti-slip rating or above for a wet room floor. Kind Regards Walls and Floors

What colour grout do you recommend? How much will be required for 7m2Our Advice

Hi Rachel The grout colour is personal preference however the two most popular colour choices for this tile are below: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/norcros-4-into-1-wall-floor-tile-grout-forest-acorn https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-ultracolour-plus-grout-ultracolour-plus-113-cement-grey-tile-grout?_br_psugg_q=cement%20grey%20grout You would only require one 5kg bag for 7sqm. Kind Regards Walls and Floors

Can you use a steam floor mop to clean them? Our Advice

Hi Amanda We don't recommend suing a steam mop on tiles as it can break down the grout. Kind Regards Walls and Floors

Hello have these ceramic tiles been tested for lead content? (I know some ceramic tiles and their glazing can contain it....) Many thanksOur Advice

Hi Nicola, All ceramic floor tiles will contain a tiny percentage of lead. There is no specific test that can be done for this, however, the percentage is very low. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.
