Description

Textured Split Face tiles provide a contemporary surface design across your chosen wall spaces. These natural quartzite mosaics have a crystalised white stone that, combined with the undulating surface design, aids in the creation of a sparkling structure and contributes to a fresh, crisp and luxurious feel. These natural split face tiles are both a perfect choice to fit in line with the current lifestyle trends and their neutral hue means they will ultimately be a great long term investment or your home.

To help keep these tiles nice and clean, we suggest using LTP Grout Stain Remover. Natural stone tends to be slightly porous, so we recommend sealing your fantastic new tiles with either LTP Grout and Tile Protector or LTP Mattstone Sealer. To keep your tiles looking fresh and new, apply LTP Waxwash Maintenance.

Due to the nature of these tiles, we do not recommend them for use in shower areas or areas that receive direct water to the surface. The manufacturing process of these tiles can leave very small joints that are difficult to completely seal.

How would you tile corners with these tiles as they vary in sizes? Our Advice

Hi K, These Tiles are easily cut to size to use in corners etc, by using an angle grinder. Kind regards, Walls and Floors.

are these tiles suitable for inside a shower enclosure?Our Advice

Hello Dawn We wouldn't recommend using these in a shower. They are natural stone and you do not grout these tiles so water would get through gaps and behind the tiles. Can I get this tile 150X600 instead of 150x300?Our Advice

Hi Margaret, These tiles only come in the one size, but interlock to assist with achieving the random layout. We would recommend obtaining a sample to ensure they are suitable for your project before making your final decision. Regards Walls And Floors

If I use these I'm a kitchen, I'll want to cut around sockets etc . Will they cut OK as these tiles are formed from strips glued together? Thanks.Our Advice

Hi Mark, Yes these tiles will cut fine. For both straight and angles cuts you would need to use either a wet cutter or an angle grinder with a diamond blade. Regards Walls And Floors

Hi Would these slates be ok to use on external walls. Trying to think what to do with our walls in the garden which are just white rendered.Our Advice

Hi Wendy, These and all other natural stone tiles are ideal for external use. These particular tiles would require sealing with a couple of coats of the LTP Mattstone Sealer and fixing with a white flexible cement based adhesive such as the Uniflex. Hi Tatsiana, These tiles will be fine to use around a fireplace. You can use https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/palace-heat-resistant-tile-adhesive-10-kg as an adhesive if the tiles are around the source of the heat or you can use https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/toolshed-tile-adhesive-kwik-flex-grey-floor-tile-adhesive if they are simply on a chimney breast location for example.
