Whats the best colour grout to go with the rustic oak wood effect floor tiles Our Advice

Hey Dawn, Grout colour is a completely personal preference, so it is quite hard to recommend. It looks like the grout used in the image is our Mapei Ultracolour Plus 136 Mud Tile Grout. I have linked this below: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-ultracolour-plus-grout-ultracolour-plus-136-mud-tile-grout Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

Hi, Think of using grout 135 golden dust, my tiler says to use grey because all colour floor tile grouts age and stain quickly and will turn grey. I would welcome your thoughts on this. Thank you JimOur Advice

Hi Jim, I can understand where your tiler is coming from. The speed at which your grout will age and become stained depends on the type of room it is being installed in and how well it is maintained. I would advise sealing your grout with LTP Grout & Tile Protector (Sealer) ID: 11268 and maintaining it with LTP Tile Grout Stain Remover ID: 11275 Kind regards,

hi, does this give a smooth metallic gold finish? it looks brown in the photo. I don't want a glitter grout finish just a smooth gold. Our Advice

Hi Robert, The grout will dry with a more golden brown colour, similar to a digestive biscuit, than a smooth gold colour. You may find the Jasmine/Sandstone colour from the Multi-grout range more appropriate https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/anti-mould-flexible-tile-grout-jasmine-sandstone-anti-mould-tile-grout-3kg Kind regards, Walls and Floors

How much grout do I require for Hickory Wood Parquet Tiles (25 sq m) and which is the best matching colour should I go for?Our Advice

Hi Tarlochan, Based on a 3mm grout joint, for 25 sqm, you would only require a 5 kg bag. However, this does not allow any extra for wastage so we would advise 2 bags to be on the safe side. As for the colour, that is down to personal preference. Although the Golden Dust is a good colour to complement the wood tones, another popular choice is Cement Grey, which will provide a nice contrast and is almost the same colour as the thin faux grout line in the design: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-ultracolour-plus-grout-ultracolour-plus-113-cement-grey-tile-grout Regards Walls And Floors

I need a shiney gold grout. Would this be the right grout? If not what do you suggest? Our Advice

Hi Belinda, This is a standard cement based grout. However one option would be to use the Kerapoxy Grout with the Gold Glitter Additive: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-starlike-adhesive-grout-kerapoxy-design-transluscent-tile-adhesive-grout https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-starlike-adhesive-grout-mapeglitter-gold-tile-grout-additive Regards, Walls and Floors
