Hello, we have some of these tiles already left over from a project, and would look to purchase more, would these be suitable for a driveway for a car to park on if installed on 150mm well compacted sub base. 70mm full mortar bed, and primer? Our Advice

Good Afternoon Tom Yes, these are strong enough to withstand the weight of a car, providing they are fitted correctly and the bed of mortar is no less than 50mm. Kind Regards Walls and Floors

Hi there Would these be suitable for a driveway if laid on a cured concrete base of say 50mm minimum thickness. Best regards TrevorOur Advice

Hi Trevor Thanks for your query. The tiles can be laid on to a substrate like that. I would adivse priming the concrete with https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/bal-tile-tools-prep-maintenance-bal-sbr-primer-bond first and then use an adhesive like https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-adhesive-keraquick-grey-tile-adhesive for the fitting. Kind regards Walls and Floors

Hi Gerald, We wouldn't recommend installing them in this way. We would advise laying them onto a cured comment base and adhering them with Kwik Flex Grey Floor Tile Adhesive ID: 10447 Kind regards,
