Does this tile have a slip rating or equivalent (ie, R9, R10 or R11)?Our Advice

Hi There, These tiles do not have an anti-slip rating, as they have not been tested. However, they are matt tile so they will have some resistance. Kind Regards, Walls and Floros.

Do these tiles need to be sealed after layingOur Advice

Hi Catherine, It is not essential to seal these tiles, however, it can be beneficial to help maintain the tiles' best condition. If you did want to do so, we'd recommend the below product: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-porcelain-tile-protector Kind Regards, Walls and Floors

Can this flooring be layed ontop of underlay? The instructions imply it should be layed directly on the floorboards but I would prefer to use underlay for soundproofing and insulation purposes. Our Advice

Hey James, For these tiles, we'd recommend something like a backer board, rather than underlay. Our Jackoboards provide thermal insulation, as well as having a sturdy base to lay your tiles on to. I have linked this below. https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/jackoboard-plano-backer-board-1200x600x6 Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.
