With WiFi connectivity, you can control the power and brightness of your lights directly from your device, giving effortless control over your lighting. How to Install Trepanel Bright®:
1 – Establish Power Source
Choose where you would like your lights to be plugged in. Ensure the power to this source is completely turned off and disconnected to avoid the risk of eclectic shocks.
2 – Cut your Lights to Size
If you want to cut your lights to suit your style, you will find cut lines that are marked along the silicone casing.
Peel the tape off the back, and cut the end that is not connected to its wire. Anything cut off the end will be wastage.
Use a pair of scissors to cut through the entire strip light.
3 – Slot Your Lights into Place
Peel off the top layer of the sticky 3M tape on the back of your LED lights.
Press the lights, sticky side to the felt backing, into the gap between the slats on your Trepanel® Wall Panels.
4 – Connecting the Lights to the Driver
Connect the LED lights by plugging the wire into one of the correlating ports on the power driver provided.
Make sure the clips are secure in the driver.
5 – Powering the Lights
Connect the power cord to the driver in the correlating port, and plug the BS plug into your power source.
Switch on and off at the plug point, or connect the wireless receiver and use the app on your smartphone to control.
5.1 – Using the App
Download the app using this QR code. Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
When you open the app, add a room and name the set of lights you wish to connect.
Tap on this set of lights to connect them. Plus the lights into your power source, and within 5 seconds, press the connect button on the app.
When the lights flash they are connected to your app.
To control the brightness of your lights, use the slider bar and slide left or right.
Turn on and off with the button at the bottom of the screen.
5.2 – Connecting the Remote Control
To connect the wireless remote control, simply plug the receiver provided in the box into your driver in the correlating port. This is what your remote connects to.
Turn on the remote with the switch and the LED lights will flash 3 times to indicate that they are paired. The LED lights go on and off by pressing the touch button.
You will need to charge the remote using a USB-C cable and turn the remote on and off when needed.
The maximum distance on the wireless remote control is 30m.
