We’ve put together a few tips to help you keep cool in the heat.
1. Try a wet towel
Wet a towel, blanket or handkerchief and place it on your body to keep yourself cool. If the cloth dries out, simply run it back under the heat and enjoy a peaceful, sweat-less sleep!
2. Keep a spray bottle at hand
Simply fill a spray bottle with cold water and spritz yourself whenever you like! The mist will cool your exposed skin, giving you sweet relief from the heat – a quick and easy solution.
3. Stay hydrated
Keep a bottle or glass of water nearby and take frequent sips to replace any fluids you may have lost throughout the day. Not only is this refreshing, but super good for your body!
4. DIY air conditioning
Don’t have AC? Make your own! Simply grab a fan and place a bowl of ice in front of it to enjoy the sweet sensation of cool air. Just remember to swap the ice out when it melts!
5. Keep your hair wet
If you have long hair, you know how bothersome it can be when it’s wet – but when the weather gets warmer? Paradise. Having wet hair will help cool your body temperature down, so it’s a great idea to do it before bed.
